Christmas has come early for The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans: Teresa Giudice is starring in a holiday movie called Fuhgeddabout Christmas. And because she’s the gift that keeps on giving, the RHONJ cast member also shared several behind-the-scenes set photos while making the announcement via Instagram on Thursday, October 27.
According to the description Teresa shared on social media, the Fuhgeddabout Christmas plot is as follows: “When an Italian American superstar realizes her family is fed up with her workaholic ways, she gets help from her celebrity friends, Santa, and magical elves to give them the best Christmas ever.”
Joining the RHONJ ‘Wife in the cast of the VH1 movie, which premieres on December 21, are Jersey Shore: Family Vacation‘s Vinny Guadagnino, Mob Wives alum Renee Graziano, Wild ‘n Outs Justina Valentine, Nick Cannon, Perez Hilton, Sway, Fetty Wap, Vincent Pastore, DC Young Fly, and Conceited.
“EXCITING NEWS! I’m in a Christmas movie!!” Teresa captioned her post. “I’m honored to be part of this project with so many talented people. [Justina]you are absolutely amazing!! [Renee] and [Perez], I had a blast with you both and I’m happy we got to share this experience together. Everyone watch!!”
If you were wondering what kind of a performance you can expect from Teresa, her co-stars offered a preview, along with some kind words, in the comments section. “By far one of my favorite projects but whenever I’ve been in your company Teresa it’s been A BLAST!!!” Renee wrote, adding, “[Your] loyalty is on my kinda level!!! And Justina made it even more fun!!!”
Producer and star Justina, for her part, commented, “Teresa thank you SO MUCH for being a part of our movie…. You were AMAZING.” Meanwhile, Vinny replied, “I’m in this too! We keep doing the same things,” referencing their recent stints on Dancing with the Stars Season 31.
Of course, Teresa’s fellow Bravolebs — including RHONJ‘s Dolores Catania, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Whitney Rose, and Shahs of Sunset‘s Reza Farahan — also sent congratulatory messages in response to the casting news. “Sooo cute,” Dolores wrote.
This isn’t exactly Teresa’s first foray into acting, however. ace People pointed out, she appeared alongside Johnny Depp as “Shocked Stripper” in 1997’s Donnie Brasco and as “Housewife #2” in a 2009 episode of the NBC medical drama, Mercy.
