On October 28th and 29th, The Rocky Horror Show returned to Music Mountain Theater in Lambertville, NJ for two sold-out performances. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take photos.

This live production pays homage to the cult classic in all its raucous interactive glory! The rice was thrown at Newlyweds Brad and Janet, who soon found themselves stuck with a flat tire during a terrible storm. They wind up at the mansion of scientist Dr. Frank N. Furter, where they are introduced to a houseful of wild characters including a creepy butler, a peculiar maid, a tap dancing groupie, and a rock-n-roll biker.

The doctor reveals his latest creation: an artificially made, physically perfect muscle man named Rocky, complete “with blond hair and a tan”. The production is an audience participation show where the audience is encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters and verbally respond to the performance as it happens.

The Rocky Horror Show has garnered a huge following in the region due to annual performances by the current production in both New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ for more than 2 decades. This production of The Rocky Horror Show features actors who return and continue to play their roles annually. Local favorites take delight in resuming the parts that they have been performing for years in the Hunterdon and Bucks County area.

Louis Palena starred as Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter. Jill Gibilisco and Tristan Takacs returned as Janet and Brad. Also reprising their roles were David Whiteman as Dr. Scott, Damian Bartolacci as Riff Raff, Madison Kotnarowski as Columbia, with Jordan Brennan, Valeen Williams, Tyree Taylor, Lucy Fisher, David McCloughan Jr., Kristin Harris, Lauren Brader, and McAfee Madding all returned to the company once again as ushers. Newcomers Roger Madding and Jennifer Fischer joined the cast as The Narrator and Eddie, and Karl Weigand took over the role of Rocky.

Always a sold-out hit, patron favorite, and a Halloween tradition, Music Mountain Theater hopes to continue to bring their Rocky Horror Show production to the stage again in the years to come.

The rest of the theatre’s current season continues with A Christmas Story from November 4 – 20, their 12th annual production of A Christmas Carol will take place November 25th – December 11th, and the Big Band Holiday Concert will close out their 2022 season with a 17-piece big band and some of Music Mountain Theatre’s favorite personalities singing your holiday favorites. Performance times are Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 3:00pm & 8:00pm, and Sundays at 3:00pm.
