A movie version of Agatha Christie’s play The Mousetrap comes to a halt when one of the crew members is found murdered. Sam Rockwell and Saoirse Ronan star as police officers investigating the murder within the glamorously sordid theater underground.

As a sequel to one of the most-watched Netflix movies in 2020, Millie Bobby Brown returns for her official first investigative case as Enola Holmes alongside his smart, dapper sibling – Sherlock Holmes, played by Henry Cavill.

Enola Holmes 2 is adapted from Nancy Springer’s The Case of the Left-Handed Lady, and early reviews suggest that the film is as charming and fun as its predecessor. If you’ve already seen Enola Holmes, then no doubt you absolutely cannot wait for the sequel that will release on Netflix on Nov. 4, 2022, worldwide.

Ponniyin Selvan – 1: Amazon Prime Video

Mani Ratnam’s first attempt at bringing Kalki Krishnamurthy’s epic historical novel, Ponniyin Selvan to the big screen was in the late 1980s but was unsuccessful. He finally managed to adapt it to the big screen with an astonishingly impressive ensemble that includes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayam Ravi, and Prakash Raj.

Ponniyin Selvan: I dramatize the early life of Chola prince Arulmozhi Varman, played by Jayam Ravi, and veteran cinematographer Ravi Varman beautifully photographed it for the screen. After a massive global box office success, Mani Ratnam’s epic-period drama will be available on Amazon Prime Video.

Brahmastra: Disney Plus Hotstar

Release date: November 4

Nearly ten years in making, Ayan Mukherji’s romantic-action fantasy drama, which perfectly amalgamates Hindu mythology, gave a respite to the long, dull box-office failures in Bollywood. It will now be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from 4th November.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Brahmastra: Part One Shiva marks the beginning of a new cinematic universe, ‘The Astraverse’. It was planned as the first part of an ambitious trilogy. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni in prominent roles.

My Policeman: Amazon Prime

Release date: November 4

Based on Bethan Roberts’s novel of the same name, My Policeman features Harry Styles, Emma Corrin, and David Dawson in a plot involving a love triangle between a closeted policeman Tom, who falls in love with a museum curator. But he is forced to marry Marion, a schoolteacher.

Opened to mixed reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival, this year, the performance of the cast has been singularly praised.

Bullet Train: Netflix

Release date: November 5

David Leitch’s Bullet Train (2022) finally arrive on Netflix. The action thriller featuring A-listers like Brad Pitt, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Brian Tyree Henry find themselves having more in common than them being assassins. Set entirely on a titular bullet train, the film has Guy Ritchie’s props to it – the silliness, over-the-top characterization, mid-action slow-mos, and razor-sharp one-liners.

Blockbuster: Netflix
