The Citrus Four and More Social Club invites you to join us for lunch once a month and to participate in activities such as trips, cruises and games. You must be a woman living in Citrus County.
Membership requirements used to be stricter. Citrus Four and More (CFAM) is an offshoot of the Newcomers Club. Previously, he had to leave the club after being a rookie for four years.

The mission of Citrus Four and More, according to the group’s bylaws, is “to foster friendship among women through regular luncheons and activities in a group environment.”
The club currently has 66 members and has a capacity of 90, so club members are looking for others to come and join the festivities, said President Ellen Sanders and others. rice field.
CFAM is held on the second Tuesday of each month with doors open at 11am. According to the group’s website, www.citrusfourandmore.homestead.com, the luncheon will be held at the Citrus Hills Garden Room at 505 E. Hartford St. in Hernando.
There’s usually a short business meeting, followed by a speaker presenting “a tidbit about information,” Sanders said. Speakers may bring brochures.
Afterwards, the members get down to the meat of the meeting: lunch with friends.
“We like to eat,” Sanders and others said.
She said clubs used to have after-dinner speakers, but the combination of lunch and sitting quietly in one place “can be deadly.”
According to Sanders, having “a bit of information” before lunch seems like a happier choice.
One of the only membership requirements is to attend at least two luncheons during the club year from September to May.
Groups also meet at local restaurants during the month when someone organizes a “lunch bunch.”
A lottery is often held at lunch parties.
Then activities include the Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainesville, horse ranch in Ocala, paddle on the Rainbow River, cruise on the St. Johns River, boat trip from Yankee Town, and trip to Tarpon Springs. , Hudson’s Sun Coast visits to his Broadway Dinner Theatre, trips to racetracks, visits to Elephant Rescue, trips to Medieval Times in Kissimmee, and even escapes to his room.
